So, today I was went to the cinema to see HBP. I was reasonably impressed with the movie - though I still think the whole Ginny's suddenly in your face thing leave's a lot of be desired. But yeah, enjoyed the movie and decided to wander over to Forbidden Planet to see if they had any of the action figures in stock.
They didn't
They did, however, had the second wave of Torchwood figures, No Ianto - they'd sold out - but they did have a Captain John Hart.
"Got anything to drink around here?" he asked, getting out of his box and doing the usual flexes. He really is well made, and the likeness is pretty good, Comes with two little pistols, and a katana. "Well?"
"She doesn't need to answer you," Jack tells him, looking down from his spot on the shelf, "I thought you were going to get HBP figures next?" he accues me.
"The shop didn't have any in. You know I've been saving for a bit to get the HBP ones," I tell him, off his odd look. Yeah, its true I'm a little cash strapped lately, but when I've got my eye on something, I tend to sit and save up pennies to get them. Only reason I was able to pick up John today was because I got some of the money I was owed off of Brother Boy. "I'm going out again tomorrow, so I'll have a look when I'm out. I think I know which shop to look in anyway."
"... Did you have to get him?" Oh Jack, he's not been right since... yeah ...
John frowns up at him. "What is it? What's happened?" He's immediately concerned. "Tell me."
Jack just stares down at him, and then turns away, back to the corner of the book shelf. I am so very glad I removed all the hardbacks from that shelf. And made sure there's a soft landing. (I like sitting in front of them to read.) John turns to look at him.
"What's wrong with him?"
... Rusty, you have a
lot to answer for, y'know that?
